Turning "I can make that" into my daily therapy.

I started crafting to keep my hands busy and my mind calm while caring for my mom, who suffered from dementia. We enjoyed crafting together during those precious few good moments. I miss her tremendously and wish she were here to enjoy my endeavors with me! I know she would be happy I haven't stopped crafting!!

I'm a firm believer that everything deserves a second chance - whether it's a thrifted vase or a piece of scrap wood. Mom would always say, "Don't look at how ugly it is now, but what it can become!". Thank you, Mom!

When I'm not upcycling or making something homemade, I'm being supervised by my two dogs and my fearless parakeet, who cannot fly, but is still the boss!
