This beautiful tray definitely has some heft to it.  I believe it to be silver plated as it does not have any water marks to validate it being a true silver tray. Sadly, I am not a silver tray aficionado.  The tray was beyond shining up, but I think it turned out so beautiful that it will be displayed and not get tossed in an unforgotten drawer or worse.  What do you think?
